Dual Media Kilns  



Olympic's Dual Media kilns are designed for firing ceramics and glass. Dual Media (DM) models are built with 3" brick for energy efficiency and will fire to 2350°F for high firing pottery and ceramic projects and are equipped with a lid element for glass fusing. An ON/OFF switch activates the lid element when fusing is desired. The Dual Media are stackable electric kilns that are designed to come apart so that you can easily move them from one location to another, easily work on one section of the kiln without taking the entire electrical system off the kiln, and increase or decrease the depth of kiln as needed. ELECTRIC KILNS  

Electric kilns have all different types of applications from firing pottery and ceramics, knife treating, heat-treating, enameling. What you need to determine when selecting your kiln - the size of the pieces you will be firing in the next year, your wiring accessibility - can you run the kiln on 240/208 voltage or only 120 volts. Once this criterion is established you can determine which model is the right one for you.
